poor prognosis patients who have banked embryos from three cycles or more, are more likely to have a successful outcome

of advanced maternal age or with diminished ovarian reserve it increases the likelihood for subsequent embryo transfers to have the family they desire
Embryo banking is a safe and effective fertility treatment for patients who wish to build their family two feet at a time. FISD offers embryo banking options at discounted prices to help patients plan for their future and their desires of having a family.
With Early Embryo Banking technique we can help increase the chance of a successful outcome for women with diminished ovarian reserve who seeks to undergo IVF using their own eggs.
Early Embryo Banking involves undergoing at least two egg retrieval procedures in succession. Many patients opt for 3 egg retrievals. All embryos from the first two retrievals will be frozen on day one of embryonic development, at the two pronuclei (2PN) stage, using vitrification (flash-freezing method). After fertilization during the third egg retrieval, all frozen 2 PN embryos will be thawed and added to the 2PN embryos created from the last IVF cycle in order to grow all of the embryos together to the blastocyst (day 5/6 embryo) stage. Comprehensive chromosomal screening (CCS) will be performed to determine which embryos are chromosomally normal and therefore most likely to develop into a healthy pregnancy.
Also, after your first embryo transfer, your chromosomally normal (CCS-tested) blastocysts can stay cryopreserved for future use.
